· Crochet starter kit
This great starter kit contains everything you need to get crocheting as a total beginner!
Learning a new skill can be fun but it can also be a little daunting working out what you need to get started. We have put together this beginner starter pack of all the essential items you will need to complete your first crochet project.
The kit contains the following items:
- 1 x 6mm (UK 4 - US J/10) crochet hook - this size hook is best as it naturally gives you a tight tension.
- 1 x 100g ball of light grey DK yarn - a good quality double knit yarn in a pastel or neutral colour is best to get you started as you will be able to see your chains/stitches.
- A small pair of scissors - to cut your yarn to length or when finishing off.
- 15 multi-coloured stitch markers - used to hold the loop of your work or to mark locations as you work.
- 2 x tapestry /yarn needles - a large needle used to thread your yarn.
